Membership

The CKCSC of Greater Houston, Inc. is an organization whose purpose is to aid in the betterment and advancement of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. The club was founded in 1997 and is an AKC-licensed 501 (c) (3) educational non-profit. 

The CKCSC/GH is dedicated to aiding in the welfare and advancement of purebred dogs, specifically Cavaliers. 

Our membership is comprised of dog owners, serious hobby breeders and individuals dedicated to the welfare of Cavaliers and activities in the world of dogs. 

Our members have many interests, including conformation shows, obedience, scent work, agility, freestyle dancing, and simply the love of dogs! 

You do not have to be a breeder or exhibitor to be a part of our club. We welcome and encourage Juniors and pet owners, as well as anyone wishing to learn more about this most wonderful of breeds. 

We have an active schedule year-round and offer multiple activities, including our annual Cardiac/Eye/Patella health clinic, our annual all-Cavalier specialty dog shows, and our fall Fun Day In The Park.

Each member joins for lots of different reasons, but the one thing we all have in common is our dogs--if you want to join a great group of Cavalier lovers, then you're definitely in the right place.
